Beausejour Cricket Ground

The Tournament will take place at the brand new, state of the art US$12.5m Beausejour Cricket Ground, located in St Lucia’s capital, Castries in the West Indies.

The Cricket Ground has a capacity of over 14,000 spectators and is the West Indies newest Stadium, completed in March 2002 to international standards and is ICC approved.

The Cricket Ground has already played host to One Day Internationals (ODI) between the West Indies and India and New Zealand in 2002 and will host forthcoming West Indies v Australia ODIs in May 2003 and a West Indies v Sri Lanka Test Match in June 2003.

It is hoped that the Beausejour Cricket Ground will be confirmed as a prominent venue in the Cricket World Cup 2007 being held in the West Indies.

St Lucia

St Lucia. simply beautiful

Prepare to be exhilarated. St. Lucia is simply beautiful. There’s no other way to describe it.

St. Lucia, one of the Windward Islands of the West Indies’ Lesser Antilles, is situated halfway down the chain of the eastern Caribbean archipelago. The Atlantic Ocean rims St Lucia’s eastern shore, while the Caribbean Sea lines the west coast which offers the calmest surf and the finest beaches.

The island is culturally rich and there is much to see and explore in this natural paradise. And, in keeping with the St Lucia National Trust, there is unique low-rise accommodation of all types, to suit all budgets. From five star luxury to intimate inns, including cottages on cocoa plantations or beachfront apartments. Children are very welcome and many of the larger resorts cater to guests with special interests such as ecology, diving, sailing or well-being.

Whatever you choose to do, on St. Lucia you will be inspired.
