10:28pm Right. That will be that from us for tonight. Hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you. Until next time, this is me (Shashwat) signing off on behalf of Thilak, Vairavan and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo! Goodbye, goodnight and take care!

Saika Ishaque, Player of the Match: I am feeling very happy. It feels like a dream. My coaches have supported me and that is why I have been able to perform. My role is similar and I have to take it one ball and one game at a time. I hope to continue in this way. (On the purple cap) No pressure and I just hope to keep doing well. If I do that, this will stay.

Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians captain: I think today our bowlers did really well and they bowled according to their plans. They are making my job easier, they are willing to bowl and ready to give us those breakthroughs. When you have so many bowling options, my job is easy. Credit goes to our bowlers for the way they are bowling to their fields. After the last game, we sat and discussed. In the last game, we bowled a few bad balls but today we backed our plans and our skills. Yastika and Hayley gave us a good start and that is what we were looking at. The wicket was a little slow and they (openers) played very sensibly. Now, the tournament is going to start because pitches will be on slower side and we have to keep this going.

Meg Lanning, Delhi Capitals captain: (On the toss) Hindsight is a wonderful thing. We were actually in a very similar position at the 12-13 over mark. I take a bit of the blame because I took a few balls at the start and then could not capitalise. Mumbai bowled excellently and that is the game - it does not go your way sometimes. There was certainly something in it for the bowlers, which is a good thing. It held a little more than the other tracks we have played on. You can't go out there and look at 180 right from the start. You get yourself into a bit of trouble if you do that. It was not our best day. We gave it a crack, lots to learn. Rodrigues swung the momentum our way but we just could not capitalise. Capsey bowled well too. Hopefully we can come back in the next game.

Yastika Bhatia: (On the pitch) I thought it was alright. Some balls were holding in the surface. But overall, it was a good wicket to bat on. I have in my mind that I have to play on the merit of the ball and that I need to hold my shape. Today, it paid off. The balls that I hit for fours were in my area. (On batting with Matthews) She is a rockstar and we enjoy playing with each other. We have good conversations about the wicket and we back each other very well on the field. (On her keeping) It definitely helps a lot. If we field first, it helps me get an idea of how the pitch is playing. At first we were thinking the ball would carry but as soon as the first ball dropped short, we thought of moving up a little.

10:08pm Well, MI did that at a canter really. Yastika and Matthews set the tone in the powerplay, with the former, in particular, impressing with her stroke-play. That powerplay broke the back of the run chase, with Harmanpreet and Sciver-Brunt then applying the finishing touches. Lots to ponder for the Capitals, who have now lost their first game this season and have had question marks raised over their batting, which until a few hours ago, seemed indomitable.
