6.09pm Southern Brave make it three and three while Originals suffer their second loss in three games. Brave got off to a shaky start in their defence of 136 but a late rally, led by Amanda-Jade Wellington and Lauren Bell, saw them home. Both bowlers varied their pace brilliantly to pin down the Originals. Lamb battled with a 45-ball 57 for Originals, but Shrubsole got her and tipped the game Brave's way. That's all we have for you from this game. Do join us for Brave Men vs Originals Men. Until next time, this is Deivarayan Muthu signing off for Ashish Pant and Chandan Duorah.

Amanda-Jade Wellington is the Match Hero: I was nervous, but I was also confident. Mandhana and Wyatt set the pace for us. I think we've had a great start and we've been at this situation many times, but this year we're taking it game-by-game. I've had a lot of practice; I was just happy to be in the CWG, here I'm getting games and landing the wrong'un in the right spot. The extra pressure of adding a slip in was crucial for us.

Shrubsole, Brave captain: I'm really proud of the girls. That was a game we probably didn't deserve to win, but we hung on and got over the line. I just let her go on with it and is a quality legspinner who spins it. The English players are not used to [that style].

McGrath to Threlkeld, 1 leg bye

another on-pace delivery that thuds into the pads. They cross over for a leg-bye

Official crowd figure: 8,788 - new record for a women's domestic match at The Ageas Bowl, according to ECB

99
McGrath to Threlkeld, no run

full and sliding into the pads, Threlkeld can't put bat on ball

McGrath to Threlkeld, OUT

What a way to go. Griffith has been run-out at the bowler's end via a ricochet. Slower ball floated outside off, drilled in the air, McGrath sticks out her hand and finger-tips it back onto the stumps. Kind of sums up the day for Originals

Cordelia Griffith run out (McGrath) 2 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR: 100
97
4
McGrath to Threlkeld, FOUR runs

on a length and outside off, slog-swept away between deep midwicket and long-on for four. Wyatt dives across to her right and dives in vain

McGrath to Griffith, 1 run

down the track, meets a slower full-toss and swipes it down to long-on

1
Bell to Griffith, 1 run

another slower ball, more back-of-the-hand variety from Bell, brushes the pad and they hare across for a leg-bye. A direct hit could've been tight

Bell to Threlkeld, 1 run

another slower ball into the pitch, swiped away to deep midwicket. Just a single

Originals need 19 off 8 balls, with two new batters in the middle

Bell to Cross, OUT

another slower legcutter, banged into the middle of the pitch. These slower balls are sticking into this surface. Cross swings hard but can only (mis)hit it as far as mid-off

Shrubsole to Lamb, OUT

Sliced straight into the hands of Adams at short third. Nice and full, possibly a slower one, Shrubsole hides it away from the swinging arc of Lamb. She throws her bat at ball. Off the outside half to Adams for a dolly catch. Is that the game?

Emma Lamb c Adams b Shrubsole 57 (45b 4x4 1x6) SR: 126.66

Shrubsole to Lamb, 1 run, OUT

darted into middle, plinked into the leg side. There's a little mix-up between the wickets. Tahuhu is caught short at the bowler's end. Shrubsole takes off the bails. Nice, flat throw from Wyatt

Wellington to Ecclestone, OUT

Mandhana settles under this skier at mid-off. Tossed up liberally outside off and turns away, Ecclestone advances down the track, but is nowhere close to the pitch and ends up slicing a loft to Mandhana. Lobbed to the infielder. This is turning out to be another nice set from Amanda-Jade Wellington
