Lovely from the bowler - first deceived him with a slower ball at off stump, then managed to keep his cool and call as he looked to get under his attempted slog. This spins back in from a length outside off, he's well beaten on the inside edge trying to punch through the covers. 53/2 71b to AL Davies, rips it past him and gets him stumped! Classic Adil Rashid. Good length, pushed through flatter and a bit wide as Davies steps down the track. 77b to RA Whiteley, spins past the drive to hit the top of middle! This is gorgeous, an offspinner's dream. Tossed up at around middle and leg from around the wicket. Gets it to drift, and then dip, after drawing him in to an on-drive. He wasn't anywhere close, mind you, it was an ill-advised shot. This has spun a long way to completely clean him up. 107/4 79b to C de Grandhomme, big turn and another bowled dismissal for Lyth! He's a part-timer but he looks ominous right now. Some of it is down to shot selection. But once again, it's full, it's dipping, and it's got a lot of revs. CdG wants to whip this square from an off stump line, but it's spun past the inside edge to hit the middle stump. 109/5 | ||||||||||
