That's all we have to offer tonight. Do join us for the next game on Wednesday. Cheers

Time for the presentation ceremony

Perera is the Man of the Match He says: "I really enjoyed this match, these are my best figures. Hopefully I can carry on from this performance. I work hard on batting na dhard hitting too."

Kumar Sangakkara: "We would have batted first had we won the toss. But our bowlers, from the first ball on, bowled great lines and great lengths. We have got a varied attack. We opened with Mahela because sometimes he is wasted in the middle order. If he bats that well, we can let him bat freely at the top. This might be something we might see more often. With that amount of swing and seam, batsmen try to walk down the wicket, so I came up to deny them that feet movement. But more than that the bowlers bowled really well."

MS Dhoni to speak first of all: "We didn't get the kind of start we needed. Their bowlers bowled in the right channels, and pushed us into making the mistakes. Next game is like a semi-final now. Yuvraj batted really well. Of course he didn't get support from the other side, but good to see him in form. The only good sign in the game."

So this is Sri Lanka's seventh-best win in terms of number of balls to spare, and India's worst defeat by the same criterion. They have out-bowled, out-batted, out-fielded, out-thought, out-every-thinged India. Umpiring decisions too went their way, but that is a part of the game, and the opposition needs to take them in its stride. What a day for Perera, he used the slightly two-paced pitch superbly to complete a maiden five-for. Wait for the presentation, surely Perera will be the Man of the Match
