Tasmania push towards innings win after Wade's century

Thomas Rogers took four wickets in three overs to effect a stunning first-innings capitulation that put Western Australia in danger of losing inside three days

Western Australia 67 (Rogers 4-9) and (f/o) 5 for 176 (Philippe 74, Turner 33*, Rainbird 2-38, Fekete 2-41) trail Tasmania 9 for 431 dec (Wade 139, Milenko 78, Guthrie 3-104, Holder 2-74) by 188 runs
Western Australia are in danger of losing by an innings inside three days, after being forced to follow on courtesy of a stunning first-innings capitulation against Tasmania in Hobart.
The Tigers declared their first innings closed at 9 for 431, after adding 104 to their overnight total. Matthew Wade and Simon Milenko fell early, with Liam Guthrie picking up his first two wickets in Shield cricket. But Thomas Rogers and Sam Rainbird produced an 81-run eighth-wicket stand to post a daunting first-innings score.
Then, the pair set about taking six wickets between them, for just 21 runs, as the Warriors were routed for 67, with no player reaching 20.
They were sent back in as Tasmania's bowlers were relatively fresh after only delivering 27.5 overs in the first innings. Josh Philippe produced a debut half-century, in his second innings, and shared an 82-run opening partnership with William Bosisto. But WA lost five wickets thereafter, and still need 188 runs to make Tasmania bat again.
