Kaushal Silva's unbeaten half-century was the only highlight on a rain-hit second day of the first unofficial Test between Sri Lanka A and Pakistan A.
Only 25 overs of play were possible on the day, taking the match total to 55 after two rain-affected days. Silva, who was part of Sri Lanka's Test squad that toured India in 2009 as the second wicketkeeper behind Prasanna Jayawardene, began on 25 and was involved in an unbroken 67-run partnership with his captain Thilina Kandamby.
Silva was unbeaten on 63 including nine fours, when rain ended play. Kandamby, who was dropped from the Sri Lanka side for the recent ODI tri-series in Dambulla, was unbeaten on 22 as Sri Lanka A finished on 166 for 3.
