Pakistan are off the mark in the tri series. The T20 World Cup preparations are underway and will continue to go on regularly. We have seven games in eight days. We'll see you again tomorrow for Pakistan vs New Zealand. For now, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, on behalf of my co-commentator, Ankur Dhawan, and our scorer, M Venkat Raghav.

JOYDEEPSINGHGIL: "Mustafizur and mahmud conceded 90 runs within just 8 overs at 1 wicket costed ban this match and other conceded just 77 within 12 overs at 3 wickets"

Rashid: "What does hawkeye suggest for 18.3?" The replay wasn't shown but it looked out.

Nurul Hasan: We are disappointed. The wicket was good and the bowlers did well. We need to improve in a few areas though. Wickets in the middle while batting cost us. Litton and Yasir batted well, but as I said, we need to improve there.

Babar Azam: We are happy as a team, have started well. Rizwan played well. We were happy as a batting unit after the first innings. We wanted to get 50 in the powerplay, then Masood came in and played well. The sun was out but the wind made it tricky but as professionals we need to adapt. Our pacers and spinners bowled well across different stages. We have some concern in the field and have room for improvement regularly.

AJ: "Despite the loss, maybe the BD management will ponder sending Yasir up the order. He tonked one of the most in form fast bowlers in that last over with ease."

Mohammad Rizwan, POTM for 78*: It's a proud moment for me. We keep things simple. It was a good batting track, we thought we were 10-15 short despite playing well. Our bowlers did well to defend the total. I always use spikes, but it was a bit slippery today. I believe in hard work and leave it to Allah for the rest. Some of the boundaries are big here. But we are playing the ball on the merit. Without a plan, it becomes difficult.

6:44pm: A clean game for Pakistan. Rizwan anchored the innings with the bat. With the ball, Wasim was stunning. Rauf was hostile. Shadab ended with decent figures. Nawaz bowled tight and was rewarded with two in two. Bangladesh's batting blew hot and cold. The openers tried to go big but couldn't get going. Litton and Afif stuck in but couldn't accelerate. The lower-middle order was unsuccessful, except for Yasir of course. He chanced his luck, tried his best to get close. The best returns for him were in the last over, which ended with 20 runs.

4
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR runs

Goes for a mighty heave aimed over midwicket, gets it

19.5
6
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, SIX runs

Lofted, Dahani backtracks at long-off but can't take it! It was a full ball that launched straight. Dahani went on the rope before the ball came in, then leapt up. Parried it back in. But since he was prematurely on the rope, it's six

19.4
4
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR runs

Length outside off, front leg out the way again. Slapped through cover, more force over grace. Four nonetheless

19.3
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, no run

Slower one into the pitch over off. Yasir was way too early on the pull. Beaten

19.2
2
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, 2 runs

Works it to the leg side, it's the gap at square. Two taken

19.1
4
Haris Rauf to Yasir Ali, FOUR runs

Lovely straight drive! Yasir was going down leg and was followed with a full ball, he went through with the shot. Not too big a flourish. Went straight and low

Yorker on leg, clipepd to deep midwicket

Mohammad Wasim to Yasir Ali, FOUR runs

Clears the front leg, stays leg side and thrashes it through cover. It was full, the ball was hit low, went between cover and mid-off.

18.4
1
Mohammad Wasim to Hasan Mahmud, 1 run

Length outside off, patted towards cover for one

18.3
Mohammad Wasim to Hasan Mahmud, no run

Big LBW appeal, not given! Pakistan have no review. That looked plumb! It was full and straight, Hasan Mahmud tried to defend it in front. But the ball came in and hit the middle of the pad.

18.3
1w
Mohammad Wasim to Hasan Mahmud, 1 wide

Misses the line, bowls down leg. Wasim walks back with a smile. Went miles past the flick.

Hat-trick ball!

Mohammad Wasim to Nasum, OUT

Another pitch-perfect yorker. This one crashes into off stump! Nasum made room and tried to whack it towards long-on but the pacy delivery zoomed in and went through

Nasum Ahmed b Mohammad Wasim 0 (1b 0x4 0x6 1m) SR: 0

Khurram: "It happens many times in T20s that top and middle order don't step up to the task and then the tailenders take the match close and you wonder if the top-middle order had played just a little bit better, just a few boundaries, may be only a couple of fours "

18.1
W
Mohammad Wasim to Taskin, OUT

Double-appeal for LBW and caught behind. Given out, Bangladesh review. It was a yorker that landed in the crease on middle and off. The front foot was out the way and the bat was jamming down as the ball came in. Slow motion replays confirm there's no bat, this looks plumb. It is indeed smashing off and Taskin has to go.

Ali Hasni : "@dan defending is easy only if there is no Dew. Else no one likes to defend with wet ball"

17.6
Dahani to Yasir Ali, no run

Full outside off, driven back straight. Towards the non-striker and the bowler manages to stop it.

17.5
Dahani to Yasir Ali, no run

Premeditates the paddle, walks across too. Dahani goes back of length and inside Yasir's walking line. It beats him and Yasir swings his bat through the air in disappointment

17.4
6
Dahani to Yasir Ali, SIX runs

Absolutely smokes a pull over wide long-on! It was a slower one that sat up outside off and Yasir swiped across to full effect.

17.3
Dahani to Yasir Ali, no run

Full toss beats the slap and goes just past off. Went low after bouncing on the grass and Rizwan took it low Was in pain for a second but is alright.

17.2
Dahani to Yasir Ali, no run

Rapid bumper! Zips over the shoulder, went past the attempted pull to the keeper.

Dahani loses his run-up and will reload.

17.1
4
Dahani to Yasir Ali, FOUR runs

Goes back and pulls, it is in the gap to the right of deep-backward square. Lands a few metres inside the cushion before going over

Dan: "Asia Cup not withstanding, it seems that this Pakistan team feels much better defending totals than chasing them. The chase depends too much on Rizwan and Babar, while their bowlers defend totals much better."

16.6
Haris Rauf to Taskin, no run

Slower one on a length just outside off snakes past the attempted slog sweep
