Atb the half-way mark, it felt that the Warriors total was about 30 runs to short, that was probably an understatement. Even with Adair falling early, the Warriors bowlers couldn't create any pressure with the ball.
All the Knights batters apart from Adair went at more then a run a ball, with Morgan Topping scoring a well made 51 off only 28 balls. Yet the Warriors missed a number of chances, which cost them in the end.
The only disappointment for the Knights is that they took one ball too many to complete the seven wicket win and miss out on a bonus point. Although three wins from three means that they sit clear at the top of the table after these three days.
Morgan Topping has just been named as the player of the match, an excellent way to end his three days down here in Cork.
Both these teams will be heading on the long drive back North. Although we aren't finished just yet. 3:30pm the Reds take on the Lightning, until then this is Justin saying bye from the Mardyke.
