O'Reilly stay back in the crease, McBrine bowls the ball full and the batter gets bowled. Somehow the Warriors have won this! What a finish!
NW Warriors vs Leinster, 3rd Match at Comber, PRO T20, May 28 2022 - Ball by Ball Commentary
Wow, what a finish we had to that game! When Tucker and Tector was in the middle, the Lightning looked to be cruising to the win. Yet a couple of wickets took away their momentum and the Warriors never gave up.
Four overs in a row from Kennedy, was a brave call by McBrine, but it worked and he ended up with three wickets. It's the first time in the competition that there has been a one-run victory. History witnessed today.
The difference between the two teams, that last over when Hume smashed 26 off it. Hume has just been named the player of the match too. So well done to him.
That's two loses in a row for the Lightning, but also two wins in a row for the Warriors. That means that the men from the North-west head back to the top of the table.
What a brilliant way to start the the day, i'm hoping that you'll be able to join me for the second game. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Comber
