It's been 11 weeks, 78 days, 1872 hours since the last action in the interpros this year, yes I've been counting! I'm sure that the action is going to be worth the wait….

With the recent internationals against South Africa and Zimbabwe out of the way, it's all about the run up to the World T20. Although the Ireland squad for the upcoming tournament has already been named and some of those players are being rested and won't be playing. With Ireland's U19's also away trying to qualify for the U19 world cup, there are a number of changes throughout the four squads. Going to be an interesting few days.

The Warriors come into today's game top of the table, on the final day at Bready they had a chance to create some clear space at the top but couldn't beat the Leinster Lightning in a low scoring thriller. With Craig Young picking up a niggle in the recent Zimbabwe series, their bowling is looking a little less threatening

For the home-town Knights, it's really been a season that they have blown hot and cold. Plenty of talent but not the results to show for it. The great news is that with Paul Stirling in the side, they have the ability to put up some huge totals at the Green. It's whether their bowlers can put in a consistent performance to defend it. Ben White's been the pick of the Knights bowlers in the first two T20 festivals, can he do the same on a damp autumnal day in Comber?

Sadly, the weather is going to be a factor over the weekend, and at the minute, we are just staring out from the media tent as the rain is coming down. It's been raining heavily for the past couple of hours. It's not a very hopeful sight as the players are just milling around the ground.
