5.32pm That's all we have from this entertaining game, with Namibia placed third on the points table and we're moments away from the Ireland-Sri Lanka game from the same group. Like Seelaar said, Netherlands will have their eyes on this game. Enjoy that one as well, for now it's goodbye and good luck from Vishal, Peter and Thilak. Stay safe everyone.

Erasmus: Special moment in Cricket Namibia history, first win on the World Cup stage. We had to step up on the day and David batted really well. It was a decent surface, some bowled well seeing the dimensions of the field. We did well to an extent; we bowled and fielded well. We run quite a culture in a small cricketing nation, from the administration to managerial set-up and this is a payback for them.

Seelaar: Namibia bowled well but not entirely great and we were worse. (Should he have continued bowling after his wicket maiden?) In hindsight, obviously, you take chances and we went for a couple of chances that didn't go well. If Ireland beat Sri Lanka then there's hope but otherwise we go back with a performance that hasn't been good enough

5.22pm Any guesses for the Player of the Match? David Wiese: "[Feels] awesome to be honest. It's very hot out there and lot of running. We were lucky to get a big over before the drinks break for momentum and then it was about picking the right balls. We tried to bat as well as we could. Means a lot to me, in a World Cup on international stage is special and to put in a big performance for Namibia, I'm glad to get this opportunity to play international cricket."

Sampath tells me Namibia's 165-run chase is the highest by any team in T20Is in Abu Dhabi. And the only way Netherlands can go through to the Super-12s from here is by defeating Sri Lanka by a decent margin and hope Ireland win their next two games (vs SL and Namibia).

5.16pm Namibia have stunned Netherlands, who are alive but with bleak chances in the World Cup. Smith and Wiese leap with joy, pump the air and give each other a massive hug. What a victory and what an innings from Wiese! He's getting big handshakes, hugs and pats from team-mates and opposition alike. Namibia were down in the chase after the wicket maiden from Seelaar, and the equation was 100 from 60, but Namibia have done it in 54 itself, thanks to a poor over from van Beek which went on and on until Namibia finished it off. Some of the Netherlands players are looking in disbelief, some getting consolation from Namibia players

18.6
4
van Beek to Smit, FOUR runs

finishes it with an over to spare, thick edge runs away to the third man boundary for four more! Right in the block hole and Smit gets enough bat for a thick edge for four

18.5
4
van Beek to Smit, FOUR runs

that should do it, all in Namibia's favour now as Smit stays still till the end before driving that short ball just wide of point right in the gap for four!

Still two balls to go

18.4
2
van Beek to Smit, 2 runs

smashes the back of length ball from off stump down the ground before long-on goes to his left and they get two

And now square leg goes back again

18.4
1w
van Beek to Smit, 1 wide

oh goodness, third wide in the over. Another one way outside off that's left easily

Nelson: "England will doubtlessly be relieved if Netherlands don't make it to Super 12......"

18.3
van Beek to Smit, no run

another wide delivery but Smit strikes it back and the bowler does well to get both hands to it between his legs

10 from 10

Dipanjan Show: "Come on Netherlands! MAKE IT A SUPER OVER!!"

18.3
1w
van Beek to Smit, 1 wide

beats him outside off but it's well outside the wide line, second wide of the over!

Looks like it will come down to van der Gugten in the last over. Deep square leg comes in, point drops back so expect more on the off side but third man is in the circle

18.2
2
van Beek to Smit, 2 runs

some width outside off and he easily steers this wide of point in the gap. Easy two

18.2
1w
van Beek to Smit, 1 wide

too slow and wide outside off, not an extra Netherlands should be conceding right now

18.1
1
van Beek to Wiese, 1 run

gets into position easily to scoop the length ball, doesn't connect, and screams for a leg bye as the ball deflects to short third man

Netherlands' best bowler today is done now. van Beek has conceded 23 in three and will bowl the 19th. 15 to win from 12, Wiese on strike

17.6
Klaassen to Smit, no run

great end to a great spell, a dot ball as Smit swings to leg and misses as well

17.5
1lb
Klaassen to Wiese, 1 leg bye

Wiese just can't connect anymore, and the credit goes to Klaassen. Angles in another slower ball, Wiese stays in this time and swings to leg, but is struck on the pad outside leg. They manage a leg bye

17.4
Klaassen to Wiese, no run

charges and swings, but misses it completely this time as the ball goes just over the stumps. Klaassen looks and smiles

17.3
2
Klaassen to Wiese, 2 runs

124kmh, goes after it again but doesn't middle it at all and the ball lobs towards mid-on, the fielder is in the deep, and the bowler has to turn around and chase it. The batters run two meanwhile

Sachinfan: "David Wiese has come a long way from his RCB days. We all have seen his exploits at the recent CPL, but him playing a knock like this representing a country is good to see"

17.2
Klaassen to Wiese, no run

deceives a charging Wiese with a slower ball, strikes him on the pad outside leg

17.1
1
Klaassen to Smit, 1 run

uses the angle to work the ball to leg from middle stump

This shouldn't bother Namibia, seeing the asking rate and Wiese at the other end. But you never know with T20s, or cricket, or life in general. Klaassen is here for his last from around the wicket

van der Gugten to Erasmus, OUT

edged behind, the finger goes up, but Erasmus doesn't seem convinced. He thinks and eventually reviews it. The ball stayed a bit low outside off as Erasmus went after it, and got an under edge, UltraEdge confirms

Gerhard Erasmus c †Edwards b van der Gugten 32 (22b 4x4 1x6 44m) SR: 145.45

Down to run a ball now

16.4
1
van der Gugten to Wiese, 1 run

patiently works this one from inside the crease to leg for one

16.3
6
van der Gugten to Wiese, SIX runs

smoked over wide long-on! Charges down with disdain, it's not a bad ball at all outside off, but the swing of his bat will take anything from along the way to beyond the boundary. What a strike

16.2
2
van der Gugten to Wiese, 2 runs

some width on the off side and he steers it square of the wicket in the gap for two. Reduces the gap further in the equation

16.1
1
van der Gugten to Erasmus, 1 run

pushes the length ball into the covers to get Wiese on strike

Pressure on Netherlands, van der Gugten comes back
