7.15pm And with that, that's a wrap! Thanks for joining us, it's 1-1 with five to play, and it's set up to be a belting series. From Miller, Alan, Thilak and the team, good night!

7.04pm Here's Moeen Ali: "A really good wicket in the end, thought we batted well, but we dropped a big catch. But the momentum changed when I bowled my over. Duckett's partnership with Salty was fantastic and me and Brooksy played nicely. It was different to the first game, looked worse but played better, and the two openers were brilliant. I know they get a lot of stick for their strike-rates but they are brilliant and you can't afford to bowl off spin to them."

Babar Azam has been talking in Urdu (and mera bahut kamzoor hai)... but the gist of it is they had belief they could chase it down, the wicket is always better under lights but proved better than even they expected. The team always believed and supported him during his run of poor form.

8.57pm Babar and Rizwan have broken their own record for T20I second-innings partnerships. And Babar has gone to 8000 T20 runs in 218 innings, the second-fastest after Chris Gayle (213)

6.50pm What an implausible drubbing! At the halfway mark, it seemed England's target was some 30 runs above par, but this pair could have paced a 220 chase with room to spare, you sense. And it is the perfect tonic for what should now be a magnificent series. Seven matches too long? Not if they provide entertainment like this!

As for England, there will be no lack of bemusement. Moeen's 23-ball fifty, and some canny improv from Duckett had put a big total on the board, and it seemed that three spinners would be handy on this deck. But Babar and Rizwan put them to the sword, with Moeen and Rashid going for a combined 55 runs in four overs.

Taabish: "On-air commentators lauding Babar and saying Rizwan played an excellent supporting role. I'd say it was the other way around. Rizwan led the way throughout always keeping the game in hand - and let Babar play himself in until he could launch." Yes, I rather agree. Babar's fifty was from 39 balls, compared to Rizwan's 30. But the acceleration thereafter was formidable.

Rana Jee: "Eng boundaries 26, one more than Pak, ..." Well there we go... as we all know, boundary countback is the only thing that truly matters...

Jamal: "Great chase. A very responsible and wonderful batting by both the openers, Babar and Rizwan who carry their bats and at the same time it is the highest T20 chase. Congratulations to Pakistan winning and leveling the series. "

Wajid Jawaid : "Don't worry England, we know this feeling. These two did the same to us. Love, India."

Wood to Babar Azam, FOUR runs

there's one of their boundaries! Such a classy stroke, near-perfect yorker, Babar just opens his stance and levers the ball through midwicket, as if easing the lid of a tin of paint

Three boundaries should seal it for Pakistan...
