NW Warriors vs Reds, 6th Match at Cork, INTER PRO, May 19 2022 - Ball by Ball Commentary
What a terrific bowling performance from the Warriors today. Early wickets was always going to be the key to defend this total, and that's exactly what they got.
PJ Moor going first ball put a dent into the Reds confidence, and apart from Commins, no batter spent any significant time in the middle.
It didn't look to be that difficult a wicket to bat on, just too many deliveries were hit in the air.
The wicket's were shared around with all of the bowlers used picking up a wicket. You'll be unsurprised to know that Andy McBrine has just been named the player of the match.
For the second season running, the Warriors have made the long trip down to Cork and will have something to celebrate on the journey back. The 145 run win means that they also pick up a bonus point and have blown the IP50 championship wide open again.
Now there is only three points between all three of the teams.
Thanks for following along today, I hope that you enjoyed it. The roadshow travels to Eglinton on Monday, so I hope that you can join me then. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodnight from the Mardyke.
