45.3 to Hassan Azad, Azad goes! A long vigil ends, Azad falling two short of what would have been just his second half-century of the season. It's a tame dismissal, short-arming an apologetic pull around the corner, wary of the man lurking around the corner at leg gully. Simple catch through to Foakes. 106/3
15.516434.04617101
56.5 to SA Zaib, Back bowling and back in the wickets! Two balls after pinning Zaib on the top hand, Overton bowls for the nick and gets it; full delivery, arching away, nipping across the leftie, catching the edge on the way through. 138/5
97.1 to TAI Taylor, Taylor goes! An engaging innings comes to an end, as does a vital stand of 114. Overton pins the right-hander in front of middle and leg, with the ball looking to be going on to hit leg stump. 307/8
97.2 to BW Sanderson, Overton's on a hat-trick! Sharp, top of off, Sanderson so leg side he's almost slow-dancing with the square leg umpire... the ball clips the top of the stump and balloons away to the Pavilion behind Ben Foakes. Surrey have their three bonus points. 307/9
2154312.041045011
14.4 to EN Gay, Caught down the leg side! Far from a strangle, as Emilio Gay runs one off the face, brilliantly taken (as ever) by Ben Foakes diving to his right! Jordan Clark strikes with his fourth ball of the match from the Pavilion End. 33/1

21.1 to LA Procter, Straight to second slip! Lovely bowling from Lawes, getting a length delivery to lift and leave the left-handed Procter, who is caught pushing forward with hands following the ball and giving Overton a regulation grab in the cordon. 51/2
55.1 to RI Keogh, Lawes again! Nibble away off a good length, but wide off of stump and an error in judgement from Keogh to go at that, especially as he had looked relatively comfortable.. 132/4
59.2 to LD McManus, Yorked! Minimal footwork from McManus, but a fine delivery from Lawes, who gets movement through the air and some extra pace to make a mess of the right-hander's stumps. 151/6
71.6 to J Broad, WHAT A CATCH! Lawes finds the edge of Broad, holding its line off a full length after moving in, right down to Overton's left. The tall quick gets his left hand underneath the ball but can't get fingers around it popping it up towards Foakes who, having watched it all the way, reacts superbly to offer out his right mitt to complete the catch.. 193/7
106.5 to KK Nair, Nair finally goes - Northants all out! A masterful innings comes to an end, with a crucial 50 for the final wicket. Attempts to ramp a short ball, similar to the shot that took him to three figures. Unfortunately for the batter, the delivery follows him and he ends up tamely overhanding the ball back to the bowler. A second five-wicket haul of the season for Lawes, albeit more expensive than it should have been. It was also his 50th first-class dismissal. 357/10

36.5 to J Clark, . 79/6
59.6 to TE Lawes, Squared up! Pearler from Sanderson, Lawes looking to leg as he edges low to first slip. Surrey still 33 away from the follow-on target.... 174/9
1954542.36916000
29.2 to DP Sibley, Huge! Sibley's resistance ends, White nipping on in just full of a good length and pinning Sibley in front of middle. Height an issue? Not so for the standing umpire who raises the finger immediately. 62/4
31.4 to CT Steel, White's got another! Outside off, bit of nip in, beating Steel on the outside edge and taking off stump for a walk! Northants have started brilliantly after lunch - the league-leaders are in disarray!. 66/5
54.3 to J Overton, Huge wicket first-up! Overton's fast-scoring knock comes to an end, pushed back by White who extracts a bit of extra seam from the pitch to square up the tall allrounder for a catch to wide first slip. Now then.... 163/7
56.1 to DJ Worrall, Worrall gone for a bagel! White gets some extra bounce and jag this time, surprising Worrall who tries to get his hands out of the way but ends up feathering an edge through to the keeper. 165/8
10.423923.65507001
14.6 to RJ Burns, Northants strike! Around the wicket from the Pavilion End is Tom Taylor, angling one into the left-hander, which leaves the Surrey captain off the surface. Burns is squared up for the edge, taken low to the left of second slip. 26/1
63.4 to BT Foakes, Surrey are all out! Tom Taylor, four deliveries into a new over, pins Foakes in front and Surrey trail by 172. Waiting to see if Northants will enforce the follow-on, but surely that's the play in this situation? Incredible effort from the bowlers, particularly Jack White, who finishes with 4 for 45. 185/10
923423.77384000
21.5 to RS Patel, A tame, tame end for Patel! Procter, around the wicket, bowls full of a good length, enticing the left-hander in a drive that goes awry - straight to cover. The bottom hand comes off the bat and the shoulders slink on impact.. 43/2
23.6 to B Sai Sudharsan, Sudharsan goes! The left-hander isn't happy about it; a bouncer does not quite get up but Sudharsan to drops his hands and lean back. There's a deflection through to the keeper and the umpire's finger goes up for caught behind! The batter looks at his left arm, suggesting it hit his forearm rather than any part of the glove, and certainly on the repay it looks to have grazed just above his elbow. Nevertheless, he's walking and Surrey are three down and 308 behind!. 49/3
