Lawes finds the edge of Broad, holding its line off a full length after moving in, right down to Overton's left. The tall quick gets his left hand underneath the ball but can't get fingers around it popping it up towards Foakes who, having watched it all the way, reacts superbly to offer out his right mitt to complete the catch.. 193/7 106.5 to KK Nair, Nair finally goes - Northants all out! A masterful innings comes to an end, with a crucial 50 for the final wicket. Attempts to ramp a short ball, similar to the shot that took him to three figures. Unfortunately for the batter, the delivery follows him and he ends up tamely overhanding the ball back to the bowler. A second five-wicket haul of the season for Lawes, albeit more expensive than it should have been. It was also his 50th first-class dismissal. 357/10

The left-hander isn't happy about it; a bouncer does not quite get up but Sudharsan to drops his hands and lean back. There's a deflection through to the keeper and the umpire's finger goes up for caught behind! The batter looks at his left arm, suggesting it hit his forearm rather than any part of the glove, and certainly on the repay it looks to have grazed just above his elbow.
