Full commentary

Bangalore were terrific in their must-win game. Their batting was absolutely top-class, putting up a score which needed a minor miracle for Otago to chase. And the bowlers, led by Kallis, finished off the job in style.

Tim from the US: "Close competition has nothing to do with whether the teams are good or bad, it has to do with the relative strengths of the sides competing. The CL has different teams from different countries and the quality of the leagues vary greatly, hence the one-sidedness."

Presentation ceremony:

Man of the Match Jacques Kallis: "Obviously we needed a big performance, and one of the senior players had to lead from the front, and today was my day. Hopefully the side strain isn't too serious. We'll know tomorrow. It's great to see the crowd support today. "

Craig Cumming: "We are really disappointed, we had high expectations today but Bangalore were better than us. They built around Jacques and Ross finished it off. It's been a privilege to be here, representing Otago cricket."

Anil Kumble: "It was a perfect game for us today. It is always tough to lose after scoring 180 (in the first game). I like the team's unity, no matter what we are really positive. The hard yards starting from Cape Cobras, and now continues."

Well, that's it from us at Cricinfo today. Bangalore are through, Otago are out. Thanks for your company, and all the mails. Do join us tomorrow, for now it's goodbye.
