Susie Rowe, a middle-order batter, played 22 T20Is for England between 2010 and 2013 but often found chances to impress limited as a finisher in a top-heavy batting line-up. She left cricket altogether in 2015, instead focusing on her hockey career, but returned five years later when the advent of the women's regional domestic structure promised greater stability and more opportunities.
