TEAMS
Peter Snow's five first-class appearances all came when he captained Fiji on their tour of New Zealand in 1947-48. As an opening batsman he had played for - and captained - Leicestershire's 2nd XI immediately before the war, heading to Fiji as a colonial administrator in 1938. Perhaps his most lasting legacy was to end the segregation whereby native Fijians and Europeans did not play together. He returned to England in 1952 to become bursar at Rugby.
