Nisitha Rupasinghe is an outstanding bowling all-rounder who bowls left arm spin and middle order right hand. Rupasinghe has been one of the leading professional players in UK, where he has excelled at numerous clubs, including successful stints in the Fleetwood cc North Lancashire and northern premier league. He represents Sri Lankan under-19, Sri Lanka A team, provincial team Kandurata has been able to excel in their performances and gained lot of achievements from his contribution. Between 2005-2007 under his captaincy, he pushed hard for International recognition too, winning places in various development squads as well as the Sri Lanka "A' squad. He has developed his game alongside international stars such as Roshan Mahanama, Jehan Mubarak, Chamara Kapugedera, Mario Villavarayan at his club (the famous CCC) and Upul Chandana at mercantile team (E-wis ltd) He has been awarded with many titles in his domestic career, most notably the Best bowler premier league 2002-03 season, and best bowler in premier limited over tournament in 2006/07.

He is qualified with ECB Level II.
