Michael Finan

Left-arm seamer Michael Finan joined Leicestershire on a two-year deal at the back-end of the 2022 season, after impressing during a trial period. He had come through the Lancashire youth system, and cut his teeth in the National League with Cheshire and in second XI cricket for Northamptonshire and Yorkshire. His Leicestershire call-up came as a replacement for Beuran Hendricks, with the club winless and rock-bottom of the second division of the Championship, and though he was unable to contribute to a victory, he finished the season on a personal high with 5 for 58 against Middlesex.
