James Muirhead

With just two first-class matches, and four Twenty20 games under his belt James Muirhead, a legspinner, was named in Australia's squad for the T20 series against England in early 2014. He had impressed with his temperament in his Big Bash appearances with the selectors viewing him as a player worth investing in. During the 2013-14 season he faced England twice in tour matches, for a Cricket Australia Invitational XI and the Prime Minister's XI when he claimed three wickets.
