The gradual return of disaffected players to the Zimbabwe ranks is set to continue with news that Dion Ebrahim may well be preparing to make himself available for the national side.
Ebrahim, 29, played 26 Tests and 82 ODIs for Zimbabwe between 2001 and 2005. While he was not a casualty of the initial row triggered by the dismissal of Heath Streak in 2004, he was controversially not offered a new contract at the end of 2005 and as a result turned his back on the team and opted to play abroad. His latest contract was with a club side in New Zealand.
However, the Independent reported that he was back in Bulawayo for talks with officials of his home franchise Matabeleland Tuskers, and was also expected to meet with representatives of Zimbabwe Cricket.
