Zimbabwe announce home schedule

Zimbabwe have announced a hectic schedule for the visits of South Africa, New Zealand and India. In the space of eight weeks, the hosts will play two warm-up matches, four Tests and at least seven one-dayers. The schedule kicks off with a series of three ODIs against South Africa, the first of which is on Saturday, 30 July at Harare. Zimbabwe will hope to avoid the embarrassment of being whitewashed against South Africa again, as they were earlier this year.

Then follows a two-Test series with New Zealand, ahead of a triangular one-day tournament which includes India. Each team will play each other twice, with the two top teams appearing in the final on Tuesday, 6 September. Later on that month, Zimbabwe will face India in two Tests in September, the first will be at Bulawayo, and the second at Harare.
