The 2nd Zimbabwe Sun Test will be played at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo from 14 to 18 September 2001 and the following squad has been selected to represent Zimbabwe against the touring South African cricket team:
Heath Streak (captain), Guy Whittall (vice-captain), Alistair Campbell, Stuart Carlisle, Dion Ebrahim, Andrew Flower, Grant Flower, Travis Friend, Douglas Hondo, Hamilton Masakadza, Henry Olonga, Raymond Price, Gavin Rennie, Paul Strang, Tatenda Taibu, Craig Wishart, Babu Meman (manager), Carl Rackemann (coach), Amato Machikicho (physiotherapist), Malcolm Jarvis (fitness trainer), Rory McWade (fielding coach).
