Ronald "Roland" Benade, the former Zimbabwe Under 19 allrounder, could be more likely to make his name as a rugby player. In May 2007, he was included in a 22-member Zimbabwe national rugby squad for a short tour of South Africa to play a curtain-raiser for the England rugby team's match against South Africa. Benade was part of a successful Zimbabwean U19 side which reached the semi-finals of the 2006 World Cup in Sri Lanka. Benade made 37 runs and took 4 wickets and 2 catches in the tournament.
