Full length from Nel, and Gayle's lack of footwork made the difference as he squirted a limp drive into the gap between the slips and gully, who made good ground to his right 77/3

23.2 to Smith, and on cue Smith feels for a ball angled across him and gets a clear edge, Ramdin takes a good catch diving to his left .... it could as easily have gone to Gayle at first slip. A lack of footwork contributed to his downfall there and, as Boycott was pointing out, flaws in Smith's technique seems to have been rumbled. He's certainly not the force he was. 61/2

118.2 to Steyn, slogged from outside off, he had to reach for it as it wasn't up there to hit, it goes a long way up and Morton at deep midwicket takes the catch. Lewis has doubled his haul of Test wickets and his average has plummeted to 207.00. 321/10

46.1 to Samuels, got him! Nel has his man, pitching it up and angling it into Samuels who falls over to the off side, trying to turn it to leg. But he's completely off-balanced and trapped in front 93/4

60.4 to Bravo, wicked delivery! That kicked off the deck and clattered into Bravo's gloves before he even had time to flinch. Graeme Smith at first slip claims the deflection and South Africa are jubilant. They are into the tail now, and the lead is still minimal 126/5

90.3 to Edwards, what a catch! What a brilliant take from Harris. Edwards tried to launch it over Harris at mid-off who sprinted to his left before diving and taking the ball low to the ground, tumbling into a forward-roll with the momentum 192/9
