Sewnarine Chattergoon is a left-hand opening batsman who was called into the West Indies side after showing consistent form for West Indies A in the home series against England A in 2005-06. He scored 107 in the second four-day match and 81 in the first one-day match before he was sidelined by injury. His 119 in the final against Barbados led Guyana to the KFC Cup in 2005-06 and he was added to the West Indies Test squad for their series against Sri Lanka in March 2008.
