Beyond the Test World
In home condition, India is always very strong due to dry-dusty pitches, crowd support and hot & humid conditions, but don't forget the Indian Tigers some time has been found only paper tigers, when it matters in the ground, they are unable to perform as per expectation. I hope & wish that this don't happen in this series and India should utilise their capabilities & potential to its totallity and outclass might Australians. But at the end, like to remind not to forget January 2008 Sydney Test, where-in we had faced Australian's one way music in support with in-field umpires. It is high time, we should show them our in-field superiority in all 3 versions of the game that is Batting, Bowling and off-course Fielding. Cheers.

Posted by Sanjays on (October 06 2008, 10:01 AM GMT)I don't agree with Tony when it comes to batsmen walking if they nicked it but then again there several disadvantages to this for the batsmen or even the teams let me list some of them out: 1) Umpires in the modern game have become increasingly reliant on technology that you find them making such unacceptable mistake. 2) Umpires seemed to be increasingly pressured to give decisions in the favor of Australia when playing in Australia. 3) Australia always comes up with little pacts but never keeps there end of deal. 4) Umpires are there for a reason, they get paid alot of money to do their job, so i think its time they earned what they are paid.
Posted by Rezaul on (October 06 2008, 03:57 AM GMT)I completely agree with Tony as he said India have the advantage of winning the series. India's formidable batting line up will be shinning in home conditions where I think Aussies will be facing their toughest battle of the last two decades. And on the other hand Australia's bowling specially the spin department is childish to Indians. Bhajji is going to be real threat to Aussies. Dont forget the Ponting matter to Harbhajan, who takes him most of the time.
