2 India players who converted their first three Test fifties into centuries. KL Rahul is the second India player to do so after Mohammad Azharuddin, who had scored three centuries in his first three Tests. Nine others India players had converted their first two fifties into hundreds.

Overall, Rahul's was only the 13th instance of an overseas opener making a hundred at Sabina Park. Rahul's is the first hundred at this venue by any opener since Chris Gayle's 104 against England in 2009.
