KL Rahul joins Gavaskar and Mankad

1981 Last time before Rahul an opener made a 150-plus score at Sabina Park, which was by Graham Gooch in England's first innings. Rahul is the only India opener after Pankaj Roy to get a 150-plus score at this venue. Overall, only nine openers have made 150 or more in a Test innings at Sabina Park.

2009 The last time an India opener made 150 or more in a Test outside Asia, before Rahul. Gautam Gambhir had made 167 in Wellington in 2008-09. There were six instances of an India opener achieving this in the last decade, but just one in this.

1989 Last time a visiting opener made a hundred in Tests in Kingston. India's Navjot Sidhu had made 116 on that occasion. Overall, Rahul's was only the 13th instance of an overseas opener making a hundred at Sabina Park. Rahul's is the first hundred at this venue by any opener since Chris Gayle's 104 against England in 2009.
