Fantasy suggestions for the CPL game between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and St Lucia Zouks

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots v St Lucia Zouks, Tarouba

Our XI: Evin Lewis, Rahkeem Cornwall, Andre Fletcher, Roston Chase, Mohammad Nabi, Ben Dunk, Mark Deyal, Daren Sammy, Kesrick Williams, Sheldon Cottrell, Ish Sodhi
Captain: Mohammad Nabi
The first pick in the CPL 2020 draft, Nabi delivered Zouks their first win of the season on Thursday with his miserly offspin and then his big-hitting in a rain-truncated game. With the pitches already tiring in Tarouba, Nabi's control with the ball could fetch you vital points. And if he doesn't quite nail it with the ball, he could make up for that with the bat.
Vice-captain: Sheldon Cottrell
The left-arm seamer has had an impressive start to CPL 2020, taking three wickets in eight overs, while giving up only 40 runs. Having taken 39 wickets in 52 matches at an economy rate of 6.57 in the powerplay in the CPL over the years, Cottrell is a very attractive option with the new ball, so make him your vice-captain.
Hot picks
Rahkeem Cornwall: The 27-year-old showed glimpses of his power-hitting when he whacked Barbados Tridents captain Jason Holder for three fours in a row to kickstart Zouks' chase in the fifth game. Cornwall's overall strike rate as a T20 opener is 176.60, which makes him a compelling option. He can also chip in with the ball and at the slips.
Ben Dunk: The Australian opener has reignited his T20 career with prolific scores in the Mzansi Super League and the Pakistan Super League. In the past 12 months, he has struck 839 runs in 27 innings at an average of just under 40 and strike rate of 153. Dunk got starts against both Tridents (34) and Guyana Amazon Warriors (29), but couldn't press on from there. Saturday's match could be his chance to go big.
Value picks
Ish Sodhi: With spin already making an impact in CPL 2020, you can't afford to leave out Sodhi. The legspinner did leak 40 runs while taking one wicket in his first match of the season, but tightened up in his second, picking up 0 for 23 in his three overs. Sodhi doesn't have a big wrong'un, but with five right-handers in Zouks' possible top seven, he could pose a threat by taking the ball away from them on a helpful pitch.
Roston Chase: Chase doesn't quite have the big hits like the higher-profile T20 batsmen do, but he has the technique and temperament to keep the scorecard ticking from one end. It was on bright display during his 52 off 42 balls - his maiden T20 half-century - against a well-rounded Jamaica Tallawahs attack. Zouks didn't need him with the bat on Thursday, but he made his presence felt with his offspin, dismissing two left-handers in Jonathan Carter and Kyle Mayers while conceding only eight runs in his two overs.
Point to note
  • Opener Kieran Powell has joined the Patriots squad as a replacement for Fabian Allen, but it remains to be seen if he gets a game immediately. In the 2019-20 Super50 competition, Powell was the top run-getter, with 524 runs in ten innings, including two hundreds and two fifties.
