SLC to file a new writ application

The writ application (No 658/2005) filed by the Hony. Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket Mr. Raveen Wickramaratne, was taken today (28/4/05) before Justice K. Siripavan and Justice Eric Basnayake.

Justice K Siripavan informed that the application filed by the petitioner does not mention the names of the first respondent the Hon. Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs and second respondent the Secretary to the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and therefore to submit a fresh application and support it.

Mr. K. Kanag-isvaran PC requested court to record the withdrawal of the application due to the names of the respondents not been mentioned in the application, he further added that a new application will be submitted to court.
