Captain: Ben McDermott
The highest run-scorer in BBL10 as of January 10, with 299 runs in seven games at an average of 49.83, he is also the highest six-hitter so far with 16 hits. He also gets extra points for his wicketkeeping - he's effected six dismissals in seven games. From the 66 balls he has played at this venue, he has scored 125 runs at a strike rate of 189.39.

Vice-captain: Colin Munro
Colin Munro's love for the Perth track has been on display in the recent games, when he has scored three consecutive 50-plus scores. He is the highest run-scorer for the Scorchers this season so far, accumulating 237 runs in eight games at a strike rate of 130.93.

Mitchell Marsh: One of the best allrounders in the league, Mitchell Marsh has made fine contributions for the Scorchers, scoring 187 runs in eight games and picking up four wickets. He has been especially good in the death overs with the bat, scoring 57 runs in 28 balls without getting dismissed at all. Against the Hurricanes, he has scored 196 runs in six games.

Dawid Malan: Malan, the No. 1-ranked T20I batsman, has scored 175 runs in five games in BBL10. Perth Stadium's true pace and bounce is likely to assist his batting style. In 2020, he scored 397 runs in ten T20Is at an average of 49.62 and a strike rate of 142.29. He is a good option for captain as well.

Andrew Tye: One of the most experienced pacers in the tournament, Tye has been in fantastic form of late picking up ten wickets in the last five games with seven of those at Perth Stadium in three games. He is also the BBL's leading wicket-taker at this venue, picking up 17 wickets in just ten games at an average of 14.00.

Josh Inglis: After an indifferent start to the season, the opener was demoted to middle order, which worked wonders for him and the Scorchers. His scores while batting in the middle order are 44*, 72*, 20 and 20. The last time he played against the Hurricanes, he scored a 46-ball 73.

Colin Ingram: The South African T20 veteran had started BBL10 with a bang, recording scores of 55, 25 and 46 in the first three games. However, his form has dipped slightly after that - he is due for a big one. He is the second-most-prolific run-scorer for Hurricanes so far this season, with 240 runs in nine games.
