At Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, March 25, 2010. Mumbai Indians won by five wickets. Chennai
Super Kings 180-2 (20 overs) (S. K. Raina 83*, S. Badrinath 55*); ‡Mumbai Indians 181-5 (19
overs) (S. Dhawan 56, S. R. Tendulkar 72). MoM: S. R. Tendulkar.
For the first time since the first
match Mumbai's bowling misfired, allowing Suresh Raina and Subramaniam Badrinath to repair
the early loss of the openers and stitch together an unbeaten 142-run stand to set a formidable
target. But Tendulkar and Shikhar Dhawan got Mumbai halfway home inside nine overs, virtually
ensuring victory.
