Rawalpindi, Oct 30: England captain Nasser Hussain faces disciplinary
action for dissent and damaging equipment in the dressing room.
Hussain's hearing with Australian match referee Barry Jarman delayed
his post-match conference by nearly 30 minutes. However, the decision
has been put off by 24 hours and is expected to be announced on
Tuesday.
Hussain was summoned by the match referee after he broke the dressing
room window and glass door of refrigerator with his bat after
receiving a harsh leg before decision against Wasim Akram.
Hussain was also reported to the match referee by local officials who
complained that he had pushed a couple of stewards and abused the
gatekeeper.
Hussain was immediately called by the match referee to explain his
unsporting attitude. He later came back to the dressing room and
returned to Jarman's room with his manager and coach.
