Former treasurer had no authority to attend ACC meeting

Sri Lanka Cricket refers to the Article, which appeared in the Daily Mirror Sports page of Wednesday, 11th May 2005 under the headline "Nuski attends ACC meeting"
The ACC meeting is being held today 11th May 2005 in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and Sri Lanka Cricket is being represented by Mr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Chairman Interim Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket.
Mr. Nuski Mohamed is purported to have attended the meeting of the Finance Committee of the ACC held yesterday, 10th May 2005 at the same location. Mr. Mohamed presently has no status with Sri Lanka Cricket, having been its Treasurer prior to the suspension of Sri Lanka Cricket by the Hon Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs on 24th March 2005. Mr. Mohamed therefore had no authority or approval from the Hon. Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs as required by the Sports Law to attend this meeting.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Office has also been unaware of this meeting taking place and of Mr. Mohamed's attendance at same.
This is also contradictory to the previous administration's legal position that their authority would be only in the sphere of domestic cricket.
