Fantasy Picks: Stafanie Taylor, Hayley Matthews key in spin-friendly Canberra

Taylor bats high up and bowls her full quota of overs more often than not - with the bat, she averages 29.83 in T20Is since 2017 and has a strike rate of 101.32. She is in form too; Taylor picked up three wickets and took the game home with a 26 not out against Thailand in West Indies' first game of the tournament.

Matthews showed us a glimpse of what she can do during her 18-ball stay at the crease against Thailand. She has the second highest strike rate (110.61) in T20Is among all West Indians with over 900 runs in the format, and her ability to bowl a few overs combined with her batting make her a good pick.

Deandra Dottin: You cannot afford to leave Dottin out. She has just returned to the team after an injury and had an ordinary opening game, but she should explode soon. The last series she played against Pakistan, Dottin scored 158 runs in three innings, including a 90*, and also picked up three wickets.

Nida Dar: The highest wicket-taker for Pakistan with 92 strikes and also the only Pakistan woman to pick up a five-wicket haul in the format, Dar's economy is also a commendable 5.28. She picked up 13 wickets at an economy of 6.87 for Sydney Thunder in the last WBBL, and her ability and experience in these conditions could work well in her favour.

Anisa Mohammed: The leading wicket-taker in T20Is with 119 strikes, Mohammed is also the only bowler to pick up three five-wicket hauls in the format. She showed her worth with tight overs against Thailand, conceding just 15 runs and picking up a wicket.

Anam Amin: Amin is in great form coming into this World Cup. She has picked up at least a wicket in seven out of her last eight T20Is, and while her career strike rate and economy are 22.2 and 5.30 respectively, against West Indies, the corresponding numbers are 11.5 and 5.13.

Shemaine Campbelle: The West Indies wicketkeeper is batting at No. 5 in this tournament, and her calm and composed approach is an asset. Campbelle partnered Taylor to finish the job in the opening game with an unbeaten 25, and her runs could be invaluable. Not to forget some keeping points too.
