England are 6/4 to win the final Test, which begins at Centurion on Friday. South Africa, who need to win to salvage a drawn series, are 9/4. The draw is 23/20.
Following the dramatic events of the fourth Test, the momentum is back with England - but there are worries about their lengthening casualty list.
On a brighter note, Simon Jones should return, and James Anderson, who struggled in his first outing of the series, is likely to be relieved of his duties. This may be Andrew Flintoff's last match for a while, and he is 8/1 to be Man of the Match.
Alongside Flintoff at 8/1 in the Man of the Match betting are the evergreen Shaun Pollock and Herschelle Gibbs, whose rehabilitation to the South African side is seemingly complete after his total of 259 runs at Johannesburg. He also scored precisely 200 runs in the last Test played at Centurion, including a brilliant 192 against West Indies in 2003-04. Marcus Trescothick, whose 180 in the second innings at the Wanderers made England's victory surge on the final day possible, is a good bet at 14/1.
Among the England bowlers, Matthew Hoggard is 12/1, while Steve Harmison - at the start of the series always among the favourites for this market - drifts out to 14/1.
For South Africa, Jacques Rudolph is the outstanding bet in the Man of the Match market. He has 269 runs in the series and is remarkably priced at 33/1.
Centurion stats
In all previous matches played at Centurion there has been just one draw with a result percentage of 88%. The only Test South Africa have lost here is the infamous "leather jacket" Test on England's last visit.
