The Diamond Eagles offspinner, Thandi Tshabalala, has been handed a two-match suspension, one of which has been suspended for 12 months, after being found guilty of a code of conduct violation during a recent domestic match.
Two other players - Mpho Sekhoto of Easterns and Craig Williams of Namibia - have been suspended for one match each for similar offences, all of which fall under clause 6 which refers to showing serious dissent to an umpiring decision and of using crude or abusive language.
Tshabalala will miss the Standard Bank Pro20 match between the Eagles and the Warriors on February 5. Meanwhile, Williams will miss the CSA provincial three-day match against Northerns due to be played from February 4 to 6, and Sekhoto the CSA provincial three-day match against Northerns, due to be played from January 28 to 30.
