The 2003 Cricket World Cup has appointed its official international tour operator to handle all the inbound travel for overseas visitors to the tournament.
The 2003 CWC policy committee has announced that Edusport Gullinjet Travel (EGT) has successfully complied with the stringent empowerment and operationalconditions.
EGT is an international consortium comprising Edusport Travel, Gullinjet Sports International and Autshumaru Investments Pty Ltd, each holding equal shares.
During the course of the next few months, EGT will appoint official travel agents in all the main cricket-playing countries and these will in turn have the rights to sell tours and travel to the World Cup through EGT.
