Lyall Meyer was drafted into the Warriors squad during season 2004-05 after injuries and national call-ups had taken their toll. He is a useful right-arm medium-pacer and left-handed bat who can be expected to make timely contributions when needed. A first-class hockey player, he has national colours for the sport, having represented South Africa against France in 2005.
