The injured duo of Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh will be returning home this evening. Kiran More, the chairman of selectors, confirmed this before the start of the third one-dayer at Lahore.
"Both will be returning this evening by the earliest flight and no replacements have been sought," More announced. He added that Sehwag has a left posterior shoulder muscle injury which was aggrevated after smashing Rana Naved-ul-Hasan for a six over third man in the second one-dayer at Rawalpindi. He has been advised two weeks' rest for sufficient recovery. Sehwag went on to make an entertaining half-century.
Harbhajan Singh had suffered an injury to his right index finger while practising before the first one-dayer at Peshawar, but an acute swelling around the joint meant he couldn't take part in any of the games. More added that Harbhajan had been advised 7-10 days' rest.
