Group C
Faisalabad Wolves eased to a seven-wicket win over Islamabad Leopards to qualify for the semi-finals where they will meet Group A toppers Lahore Lions. Offspinner Saeed Ajmal bagged four wickets and was supported by Asad Ali and Khurram Shehzad, who grabbed two wickets each, to bowl out Islamabad Leopards for 103. Faizan Riaz top scored with 25 but the total proved terribly inadequate. Opener Asif Hussain smashed 44 off 39, striking five fours and a six, and Ali Waqas assisted him in an 82-run stand to help steer Faisalabad to victory in the 16th over.
Group D
Khalid Latif's hurricane unbeaten 75 helped Karachi Dolphins crush Lahore Eagles at the National Stadium and ease into the semi-finals. The match ended in a comprehensive victory for Karachi, who needed less than 10 overs to complete the chase of 121, losing only the wicket of Shahzaib Hasan along the way. Latif slammed 13 fours and two sixes in his innings to drive Karachi at more than 12 an over. Such a one-sided affair didn't look on the cards when Lahore openers, Imran Farhat and Taufeeq Umar, motored to 38 by the fifth over after being sent in. A couple of quick blows slowed Lahore, and worse followed when they lost five wickets for eight runs to slip to 90 for 8. It was No.9 Fahad Masood's 17-ball 23 that pushed the target to triple figures.
