Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami, currently with the Pakistan team in UK are returning home due to fitness problems. Both players will join the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, it was officially announced here on Tuesday.
While Shoaib Akhtar, became unfit during the last one-dayer, M Sami has had fitness problems on the tour. However if so required Sami may join the Pakistan 'A' team in Sri Lanka later, it was further announced.
Fazl-e-Akbar, another pace bowler, currently in UK, has been asked to join the Pakistan Team in England for the Triangular Series.
Both the pace bowlers, Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami, will be meeting Chairman PCB Lt Gen Tauqir Zia in London on June 13, before returning home.
