Stefan Swanepoel is a solid wicketkeeper who bats in the top three for Namibia. He made the senior squad for the first time in October 1999, aged 18, and went on to open in five out of six matches at the World Cup in South Africa in 2003.
He also captained the Under-19 side at the World Cup in New Zealand in 2002,
hitting a sparkling 142 from 131 balls as his side beat their Scottish
counterparts. He followed that with a run-a-ball 49 against Canada to help
his team reach the semi-finals of the plate competition.
