There were two definite noises but it hit the front pad first and then the back pad and the first indications is that it is sliding down the leg-side. 33.3 to Chanderpaul, extraordinary! A disgusting full toss from Patel and Chanderpaul tries to turn it away to the leg-side. It catches the leading edge and pops straight back in to Patel's hands. New Zealand go wild! 106/4

135.2 to Gayle, gone! Patel bowls down the leg-side again and Gayle tries to glance it down the leg-side. It hit's off hit bat and pad on the way down to the ground but smacks off McCullum's right foot before popping up in to the air and in to the keeper's gloves. Game on 342/8

141.5 to Edwards, some good drift and turn from Patel coming round the wicket and its nicks it away to Taylor at first slip. Great piece of bowling 363/9

2.2 to McIntosh, referral tries a straight drive and it comes off the pad in front of middle and off and on to the bat. The on field umpire gives it not out and West Indies want the decision referred. The third umpire makes the correct decision to overturn and McIntosh is given out. First blow to West Indies 8/1

44.1 to McCullum, referral, McCullum takes another swipe at a short one and it looks nothing but the West Indies go up for a big appeal for caught behind. To the batsmen's surprise the umpire raises the finger and McCullum instantly challenges the call. It's even hard to tell in the slow motion replays whether he has hit it or not and the decision comes back given out. McCullum walks off furious and he looks very hard done by there. Surely the referral system is to stop these wrongful dismissals? 203/5

22.2 to How, Jamie How takes another vicious swipe but catches an outside edge as he swipes at the cut shot and it races through to Gayle at first slip. He scored some quick runs but is has come at a price. Great catch though 96/3

37.5 to Taylor, referral Benn flights one up and it hits Taylor's front pad as he tries to lean the ball in to the leg-side. Huge appeal from the West Indies and the umpire raises the finger.
