Kieron Pollard, the Trinidad and Tobago batsman, has been included in the West Indies squad for the forthcoming one-day internationals in New Zealand. According to the Trinidad & Tobago Express Shaun Findlay and Nikita Miller, the left-arm spinner, will also join the squad but it's uncertain who they will replace.

Pollard, who also bowls medium pace, helped T&T reach the final of the recently concluded WICB Cup in Guyana with an all-round performance, following his 76 and 3 for 38 against Jamaica. T&T were the eventual champions of the tournament.

He made his ODI debut for West Indies in a World Cup match against South Africa last year but has since played only three more games, the latest being against Australia at the same venue in June.

Findlay and Miller were part of the ODI squad for the three-match series against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi which concluded just before the team departed for New Zealand. West Indies play two Twenty20 internationals before the five-match one-day series commences in Queenstown on December 31.
