Profile
Henry Foley's dubious claim to fame was that he was the first New Zealand batsman to be dismissed in Tests, against England at Christchurch in 1929-30. It was his only Test in a brief career which was curtailed by ill health. He was a sound, patient left-hand opener and a capable slip. Martin Williamson
