Marc Phillip Ellison
Profile

After being selected as captain of the Auckland Under-19 team for this season's National U19 Tournament, Marc Ellison has been chosen to captain the New Zealand team at the 2006 U19 World Cup.

Ellison made significant and consistent performances with the bat that helped Auckland to win the national U19 tournament. In seven matches, he scored four half-centuries and one century to guarantee his place in the New Zealand squad and impressed significantly enough as captain to be chosen as the player to lead New Zealand into a major tournament where in the past three campaigns their performances have been disappointing. They will be looking to Ellison to ensure a stronger performance in this year's tournament.
