Happy New Year from the SCG
Happy New Year and I hope all of your dreams come true over the next 12 months.
Sorry I have been a bit slack over the past few weeks with my postcards but I have to admit the wet weather has been taking its toll in more ways than one. Because of the extra long days I have been leaving the hotel at around 8am every day and getting back to my two kids at about 8pm each night. This has been leaving me with little energy to share the day's experiences with you on the net.
Please don't despair though because I have some great stories for you when this Test match is over. Brett Lee has been on fire, our New Year's Eve party was a blast and Melbourne was our sixth straight Test match victory in a row. It has been so much fun playing within this team that I am sure you will find it interesting reading about everything that's been going on. I have also taken some great photos over this Xmas period so they will also be on my next postcards.
Hopefully by the end of this week Warney would have broken the record, we have won this series 3-0 and Mark Waugh has scored a hundred in his hundredth test match. Time will tell all of this, but I can say that at the end of day one the good guys are looking good again.
