This promises to be an exciting match between an England side
looking to build up some momentum for the up-coming one-day series
kicking off on this ground in five days time

A 23-run victory for the second string Australian side
England looked well on top for a lot of the match, keeping the
Australia A scoring rate tight, and getting off to a good start in
their own innings, certainly at the innings midpoint 3/102 chasing
206 they looked to be cruising
But the Australia bowlers and fieldsman got the wickets at the
crucial stages, and it really did fall apart in the latter stages
of the innings
But England can draw some positives out of an improved performance
on the lopsided loss of two nights ago
